This is what you are responsible for
- Work closely with customers to support and enable embedded application development
- Develop software applications to demonstrate Deep Learning use cases primarily in vision analytics workloads
- Create application notes and other documentation on software tool flows
- Performance and Power measurement and analysis of Embedded AI systems
- Create communication plan and processes to effectively prioritize customers, issues and features
Necessary qualifications/Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to support customers
- Customer first attitude, track record of root-cause analysis and fixing a problem for good
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronics plus 5+ years of experience
- Experience in building embedded software applications
- Experience programming in Python, C, C++
- Experience in vision frameworks like OpenCV, gstreamer, OpenCL etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience with video/multimedia/image processing software development
- Exposure to Neural Networks, AI/ML/DL models, training, frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch
- Experience with Driver development in Linux, MacOS or Windows platforms
- Experience at debug of hardware
- Ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative team environments

About the Role
As a Field Application Engineer, you will have to collaborate with development, customer, and sales. Your goal is
to generate technical solutions and successfully implement them for the customer. You will use the existing
products and concepts to develop customer system solutions.
Develop software applications to demonstrate Deep Learning use cases primarily in vision analytics workloads.
Create application notes and other documentation on software tool flows.
Performance and Power measurement and analysis of Embedded AI systems.
This is what you are responsible for

Work on the latest and most innovative Edge AI technologies and products from Kinara.

Work closely with the customer and partners in understanding the customer needs and participate in
defining the features for Kinara products. -
Provide internal and customer training to use the Kinara products.

Answer incoming questions about the Kinara products and their capabilities and provide demos, testing,
and debugging customer applications. -
Demonstrating Kinara products, understanding customer problems and feasibility, and working on
implementation choices -
Developing demos showcasing the Kinara products and participating in symposiums.

Installing and training customers on SDK and Kinara HW products.

Preparing reference design and development systems for the customer, reviewing customer-facing materials
and releases. -
Supporting customers in learning the development environment.

Technical mediation between customers and Engineering teams, answering customer questions.
Necessary qualifications/Requirements

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. -
A solid understanding of embedded software and Linux.

Good reading and writing proficiency.
Preferred qualifications but not necessary

A solid understanding of AI networks and frameworks like TensorFlow, Pytorch, Caffe, and ONNX.

Experience in camera systems, image processing or computer vision, or both.

About the Role
As an HW engineer, you are responsible for board design, verification of a hardware product, working closely with
other functional teams during development, and working with vendors and agencies during product development.
Develop software applications to demonstrate Deep Learning use cases primarily in vision analytics workloads.
Create application notes and other documentation on software tool flows.
Performance and Power measurement and analysis of Embedded AI systems.
This is what you are responsible for

New Digital Circuit/board design, debugging/verification of a hardware product.

New/alternate component selection and qualification during product design.
-
Work with component engineering, PCB layout, and mechanical teams during the product’s development phase
and ensure they meet the design standards. -
Work with prototype vendors in developing protos and designing the product for manufacturability.

Understand various Agency certification requirements (FCC/CE/UL etc.) and support the teams in getting
the product agency certified. -
Leverage EMI/EMC concepts to debug issues, if any, and support Agency certification by providing required
design artifacts. -
Work with ASIC hardware and S/W teams on a need basis during the product’s development phase.

Participate in design reviews during various phases of product development.

Should take up overall responsibility of the product from design to mass production.
Necessary qualifications/Requirements

BTech/MTech in EE/ECE with any level of experience.

Basic understanding of C programming language.

Have a deep understanding of HW design flow, including architecture, design, verification, prototyping,
timing analysis, and characterization. -

- Exposure to quantization techniques, Quantization Aware Training (QAT) and accuracy tuning from fp32 to integer
