Kinara is a Bay Area-based venture backed company. Our architecture is based on research done at Stanford University by Rehan Hameed and Wajahat Qadeer under the guidance of legendary Prof. Mark Horowitz (http://www-vlsi.stanford.edu/~horowitz/) and Prof. Christos Kozyrakis (http://csl.stanford.edu/~christos/).

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCIe and USB drivers for AI chipsets, ensuring performance and reliability
- Maintain clear communication in understanding the hardware subsystems and internals to identify possible solutions for a given problem
- Optimize data path efficiency and minimize latency
Qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in Linux PCIe and USB kernel and/or userspace drivers.
- Strong fundamentals in C/C++ and OS internals
- Knowledge of DMA subsystems, IOMMU and vfio drivers is a strong plus
- Proficiency in kernel space debugging using tools like printk, kgdb, ftrace, or similar.
- Strong background in RTOS, BSP’s, and other low level system engineering is preferred.
